ABOUT ME

CHARITY FASHION SHOW

I was Artistic Director for Van Mildert College's charity fashion show in 2010. I was responsible for coming up with creative concepts for the show whilst developing my organisational, leadership and time management skills.

TRAVELLING

I love travelling and seeing new places. One of the most interesting countries I've been to was China. There are still plenty more on my to do list though including Pompeii and Macchu Picchu in Peru!

PRISON MENTOR

At university I visited young offenders (11-16 years) in a secure training centre, who were often reluctant to talk to me. By being reliable and non-judgemental, I was able to commit to this project which I hope shows my integrity, if not my resilience, in challenging situations. They often brought up sensitive subjects such as rape and murder, which I had to approach with tact.

SHEFFIELD TALKING NEWS

I'm a volunteer for the charity which produces over 500 audio cassettes, CDs and Memory Sticks for anyone who's blind or visually impaired. I help create and edit the recordings, as part of a team, which include snippets of local news from the city's newspapers.

BROWNIE HELPER

I help out at my local Brownie pack, supervising various activities including games, crafts and outings. I have been CRB checked so I can look after the children during meetings and also on trips and at events.
